Uniden DFR9 GPS Radar Detector

The DFR9 is the latest in Uniden's top of the line long range DFR series of Laser and Radar detectors with a built-in GPS. It detects X, K, and KA radar with an advanced K band filter to help prevent false detection. It is equipped with Eagle Eye for 360° monitoring for all types of laser. Individual bands can be turned on or off. It also has Ka POP mode, traffic sensor filter, speed camera notifications and red light camera notifications with Quiet Ride.

The DFR9 has both city and highway mode with advanced sensitivity levels to minimize false alerts. It is equipped with an easy-to-read OLED display with a choice of 8 background colors, adjustable dim levels and auto dim setting. The DFR9 can display radar band frequency, speed, compass, time, altitude, signal strength, vehicle battery voltage, and up to 4 threats at once.

The DFR9 also features voice alerts with an option to mute at the press of a button. Other features include Red Light Camera Quiet Ride, User Mark, speed warning system, Priority Alert, mute memory, battery voltage warning, self test and factory reset. The firmware is upgradeable.

The Uniden DFR9 comes with windshield mounting bracket, 12-volt DC power cord with built-in USB port, USB cable, hook and loop mounting tape, a soft shell travel case, owner's manual and a one year manufacturer warranty.

Filtering
One of the main benefits of this Uniden radar detector is that it provides exceptional filtering to K-band collision avoidance and lane departure systems so common today as well as GPS lockout of known stationery false sources of radar.

Programming your Uniden for the conditions you drive is easy. Just press the menu button and you can select from various different options that include the sensitivity, the filtering, the brightness of the display and more.
