Whistler GT-268Xi radar detector

The new model GT-268Xi offers convincing European detection sensibilities no needs to hide behind high-priced radar detectors from other manufacturers. The Whistler GT268Xi International is optimized in Ka-Narrow scanning and the needs in European Union. An advantage of the narrow-band scanning is, that a smaller number of frequencies is scanned. Fast response times against mobile speed cameras and laser measurements are guaranteed due to selective Ka-frequency scanning.

In addition to the narrow-band scanning the GT-268Xi provides an innovative KA-and X-band filter mode. This unique signal filtering feature prevents false alarmings, without the usual loss of sensitivity.

The Whistler GT 268Xi provides an efficient laser detection with a 360-degree-protection. The GT-268iX groundbreaking innovation comes with the unique segmentation of the laser pulse rate. This new feature divides laser signals into six separate time windows and enables efficient laser tracking in all European countries. All laser measurements as Traffipatrol XR, Riegel, Jenoptik, LAVEG, TrueSpeed are detected early while eliminating false alarms at the same time.

Whistler has equipped the compact GT268iX with technical comfort features that are only available in high-end radar detectors. While detecting simultaneously several radar frequencies, the innovative Alert Priority filters all sources and inform drivers about the most dangerous radar signal. All frequencies can be switched on or off by software. The sensitivities of the GT-268iX can be configured optimally between suburban and three urban modes.

The high-contrast numeric display is easily to read and offers a 9-stage signal strength indicator with information about the detected frequency. Two ultra-bright flashing LEDs additional inform drivers. The display brightness can be configured individually and also offers a discrete Dim / Dark mode for night driving. The Auto Quiet feature automatically suppresses warnings while display remains active. VG-2 radar detector detectors can not locate the Whistler GT 268Xi to 100%.
